Job Description
Reporting to HR and Admin Officer, this role involves maintaining vehicle compliance with regulations like Department of Transportation requirements and passenger safety laws, Managing company vehicles, coordinating maintenance and upgrading when necessary, Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip, Pick staff on time to and from requested destinations, Assist with loading and unloading luggage, Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions, Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed, Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all riders, Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues, Book car wash and detailing services to maintain interior and exterior cleanliness of the car.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
Minimum of SSCE.
Three years working experience in a similar role
Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained, including oil changes, greasing, and minor repairs. Keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy.
Provide technical assistance as requested, and help prepare vehicle maintenance plans.
Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and other vehicle-related information.
DESIRABLE
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Experience as a motor mechanic is an added advantage.
Ability to communicate in English
Able to deliver effective results, and meet tight deadlines and targets.
