Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to establish financial targets and allocate resources effectively.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, forecasting, and variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to inform strategic business decisions.
• Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage cash flow, monitor liquidity, and optimize working capital.
• Liaise with auditors and manage the annual audit process to ensure compliance and transparency.
• Ensure strict compliance with all relevant financial regulations, accounting standards (e.g., IFRS), and tax laws in Nigeria.
• Develop and implement robust internal control systems and risk management processes to safeguard company assets.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, including market risk, credit risk, and operational risk.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
• Delegate tasks effectively and manage team workload to ensure efficient operations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, regulatory bodies, and other external partners.
• Provide financial guidance and support to other departments, enhancing financial literacy across the organization.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree (e.g., MBA, MSc Finance) is a strong plus.
• MUST be Professionally qualified (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial management or a senior accounting role, with demonstrated experience in a managerial capacity.
• Proven expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
• Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, financial modeling).
• Experience in managing internal and external audits.
Salary:
₦500,000.00 Monthly
