Job Title: Architect - Contract

Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Architect on a 12-month contract to join our dynamic real estate development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and overseeing the construction of residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. This role will involve collaboration with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and contractors to deliver innovative, sustainable, and fi nancially viable designs that align with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
● Design Development: Lead the architectural design process from concept to construction drawings for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
● Feasibility Analysis: Collaborate with the development team to assess site feasibility, zoning, and design opportunities to maximize land use and project value.
● Project Coordination: Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of structural, MEP, and landscape designs.
● Construction Oversight: Monitor construction progress, conduct site visits, and ensure adherence to design intent, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
● Client & Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to refi ne project briefs, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback.
● Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, environmental regulations, and health & safety standards.
● Sustainability: Integrate sustainable design principles and green building practices to enhance project value and reduce environmental impact.
● Cost Management: Work closely with the cost and procurement teams to develop cost-effective design solutions that align with project budgets.
● Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, materials, and technologies to propose innovative design solutions that meet market demands.

Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s degree is a plus).
● Registered Architect with a valid practicing license.
● Minimum of 5-6 years’ experience in architectural design, preferably within the real estate development industry.
● Proven experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
● Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.
● Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
● Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
● Strong project management and organizational abilities.
