Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Waiter/Server to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience from start to finish. This role involves taking orders, serving food and drinks, and maintaining a clean and inviting dining environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests warmly and promptly.
Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items and specials.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
Serve food and drinks efficiently and courteously.
Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and promptly address any issues.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
Prepare tables for meals, including setting up utensils, napkins, and condiments.
Process payments and provide receipts as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years experience in a waiter/server role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
OND/BSc/HND in Hospitality Management, Catering, Sales or related field is an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Basic math skills for handling payments.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Team player with a positive and proactive approach.
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary N70,000.00
Free accommodation for 3–4 months upon resumption
