Job Description
Job Title: Junior Electrical Engineer
Location: Ikoyi Lagos
Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday to Saturday)
Experience Level: 1 Year
Salary: 100k net
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Junior Electrical Engineer with foundational knowledge in Computer Engineering to join our team. You will support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic security systems, including CCTV, access control, alarms, and IT network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and testing of electronic security systems (CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, etc.).
• Perform routine maintenance and diagnostics of electrical and IT-based security systems.
• Provide support in network setup, hardware integration, and minor software configuration.
• Work with senior engineers to troubleshoot hardware and software issues in security devices.
• Ensure cabling, wiring, and circuit setup meet safety and operational standards.
• Document installations, repairs, and technical issues in line with company protocols.
• Stay updated on new trends in security technology and electrical system design.
• Respond to client service calls and perform on-site support when needed.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or HND in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• 1 year of relevant experience in electrical/electronic systems or IT support (internship included).
• Working knowledge of basic electronics, circuits, power systems, and IT networking.
• Familiarity with CCTV systems, routers, switches, and control panels.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work on-site and travel to client locations.
• Team player with attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
