Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the continuous monitoring and maintenance of the NEXIT server-side application, ensuring optimal performance, stability, and scalability. You will play a critical role in ensuring the application infrastructure remains responsive and resilient around the clock.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 24/7 monitoring of the health, availability, and performance of the NEXIT server side application.
* Respond promptly to system alarms and incidents, ensuring real-time issue resolution.
* Follow established operational procedures and escalation protocols to maintain system integrity and uptime.
* Manage server resources to support application performance, including load balancing and auto-scaling infrastructure in response to user demand.
* Maintain system documentation and contribute to process improvements that increase efficiency and reliability.
* Conduct routine maintenance, patch management, and system updates with zero to minimal downtime.
* Perform regular system health audits, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
* Monitor and improve system security posture, including vulnerability scanning, intrusion detection, and applying best practices for access control.
* Collaborate with software engineers to troubleshoot and resolve deployment or performance issues.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in DevOps, System Administration, or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of server monitoring tools and performance tuning.
* Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure automation tools.
* Experience with incident management and root cause analysis.
* Ability to work in a high-availability environment with strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
