Job Description

Job Title: Solar Sales Executive

Location: Bariga Lagos
Department: Sales and Marketing
Reports To: Sales Manager
Job Type: Full-Time | Commission

Job Summary:

We are seeking ambitious and results-driven Solar Sales Executives to promote and sell solar energy solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying customer needs, educating them about our solar products, and closing sales that align with customer energy needs and savings goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Generate leads and follow up on sales inquiries.
Conduct site assessments and determine customer energy requirements.
Present and promote solar products and services to prospective customers.
Provide accurate information on product features, pricing, financing, and warranties.
Customize solar solutions and prepare quotations tailored to customer needs.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Maintain strong relationships with clients through post-sale support.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Collaborate with technical and installation teams to ensure successful project execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in sales; solar or renewable energy sales experience is a plus.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Customer-focused with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
Goal-oriented with a self-driven attitude.
Basic knowledge of solar technology and energy systems (training can be provided).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Marketing, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Preferred:

Previous experience in B2B or B2C field sales.
Own a means of transport (especially for field roles).
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
