Job Description
This role requires a skilled professional with a proven track record in long-distance driving, sound knowledge of major road networks across Nigeria, and the ability to ensure safe and timely delivery of goods.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years' experience driving 10-ton to 20-ton trucks within and outside Lagos.
Solid understanding of road networks in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, and other key states.
Minimum educational qualification: SSCE (Senior Secondary School Certificate).
Valid Nigerian driver’s license and up-to-date driving documents.
Good communication skills and ability to maintain trip and delivery records.
Physically fit, reliable, and safety-conscious.
Must be able to work independently and handle extended driving hours.
Responsibilities:
Operate assigned trucks in a safe, lawful, and efficient manner.
Carry out inter-state deliveries in line with company routing schedules.
Perform routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance needs.
Ensure all cargo is handled properly and delivered in good condition.
Comply with company policies and traffic regulations.
