Security Operative

Patrol assigned premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unusual activities.
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles.
• Maintain proper log of all daily security activities and incidents.
• Respond to alarms or emergency situations promptly and appropriately.
• Enforce company security and safety policies.
• Protect company property, staff, and visitors from theft, damage, or harm.
• Report any suspicious movements, security threats, or equipment failures.
• Liaise with law enforcement agencies when required.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Education:
o Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) / WAEC / NECO.
o OND or higher qualification is an added advantage.
2. Age:
o Applicants must be between 25 – 40 years of age.
3. Height and Physical Fitness:
o Minimum 1.65 meters (5'5") in height for males.
o Physically and medically fit; successful candidates will undergo fitness and medical screening.
4. Experience:
o Minimum of 2 years working experience in a recognized security firm or company.
o Prior service in the military, police, NSCDC, or paramilitary organizations is an added advantage.
5. Character & Conduct:
o Must possess good moral character, integrity, and be free from any criminal record.
o Background checks will be conducted with appropriate law enforcement agencies.
6. Other Requirements:
o Valid means of identification (NIN Slip/Card, Voter’s Card, or National ID).
o Two guarantors (not family members) who must be reputable and verifiable.
o Basic knowledge of security tools, patrol procedures, incident reporting, and fire safety.
o Ability to read and write simple English; good oral communication skills.
o Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and under pressure.
o Ability to operate walkie-talkies, CCTV systems, and basic access control devices is a plus.
