Job Description
1. Project Cost Management
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs for construction projects
- Develop and maintain project budgets
- Monitor and control project costs
- Prepare monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts
2. Contract Administration
- Review and analyse contract documents
- Prepare tender documents and manage tender processes
- Negotiate with contractors and suppliers
- Handle contract variations and claims
3. Commercial Management
- Prepare interim and final account statements
- Manage project valuations and payments
- Monitor project financial performance
- Identify and manage commercial risks
4. Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor junior quantity surveyors
- Prepare interim and final account statements
- Lead cost-related meetings and presentations
- Provide technical guidance to team members
Required Skills and Competencies:
1. Technical Competencies
- Proficient in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft)
- Expert knowledge of construction contracts and Nigerian construction law
- Strong understanding of building and civil engineering processes
- Excellent knowledge of current construction costs and market trends
2. Professional Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills

Professional Requirements:
- Membership of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS)
- Registration with the Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria (QSRBN)
- Valid practicing license
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Experience - 5- 7 years.
- Salary:
- ₦700,000.00 Monthly
