Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Account Clerk with 1–3 years of experience to support our accounting department. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of clerical and accounting tasks, including maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and reconciling accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with day-to-day accounting functions such as accounts payable and receivable
Record and reconcile invoices, receipts, and payments in accounting systems
Prepare and process bank deposits and check runs
Maintain accurate and organized financial records and filing systems
Assist in preparing financial reports and month-end closing tasks
Perform data entry and ensure accuracy in ledger accounts
Communicate with vendors and customers regarding payments and discrepancies
Support audits and provide documentation as needed
Follow company policies and accounting best practices
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in accounting preferred
1–3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related clerical role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with ERP systems
Knowledge of basic accounting principles
Familiarity with payroll and tax filing is a plus
