Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular audits of financial records, systems, and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Review and assess the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management procedures.
Evaluate the adequacy of internal policies and procedures and ensure they are being followed.
Identify and report any discrepancies, weaknesses, or fraud risks in financial operations.
Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, laws, and financial best practices.
Coordinate with external auditors during statutory audits and provide necessary documentation.
Assist in the development of annual audit plans and schedules.
Stay updated on changes in regulations, accounting standards, and auditing practices.
