Job Description
Job Title: Cashier
Location: Victoria Island Lagos
Salary and Benefit: N180,000 – N100,000 / Month
Key Responsibilities
o Greeting customers, answering questions, assisting with returns and exchanges, and resolving customer complaints;
o Accurately processing customer transactions, handling payments (cash, credit, debit), and issuing receipts;
o Balancing cash (drawers), counting money, and reconciling transactions.
o Maintain a clean checkout area;
o Bagging and wrapping of purchases.
Qualifications
o Candidates should possess SSCE with 1 - 2 years of experience.
o Ideal candidate must have basic math skill.
o Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and other technology used in the checkout process.
o Excellent customer service and communication skills.
o Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
o Proven sales experience in a retail environment.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
o Strong organizational and time-management skills.
o Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
