Job Title:* Architect/Interior Designer
*Reports to:* Principal Architect/Design Director
*Location:* Lekki Phase 1
*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Architect/Interior Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing innovative architectural and interior design solutions that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and interior design trends.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Design and develop architectural and interior design concepts, plans, and specifications for a variety of projects, including commercial, residential, and hospitality spaces.
- Conduct site analysis, feasibility studies, and building assessments to inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and preferences.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Prepare and present design proposals, plans, and specifications to clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and other relevant laws and standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and industry developments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, and project management.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
*Requirements:*
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
- Valid professional licensure (e.g., LEED AP, NCARB, ASID).
- Proven experience in architectural and interior design, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and interior design trends.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in design software (e.g., Autodesk, SketchUp, Revit).
*Preferred Qualifications:*
- 5 years experience with sustainable design principles and practices.
- Knowledge of building information modeling (BIM) and other advanced design technologies.
- Certification in a relevant design software (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional).
- Experience working on large-scale or complex projects.
