Inventory Officer

Inventory Officer needed for monitoring and managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate record-keeping of stock movements, and supporting efficient inventory control processes. The role involves stock auditing, reconciliation, and coordination with procurement, production, and logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of stock levels, movements, and adjustments.
Monitor stock usage and reorder levels to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
Track incoming and outgoing inventory using inventory management systems.
2. Stock Control and Auditing:
Conduct regular stock counts (daily, weekly, or monthly) and reconcile discrepancies.
Ensure physical stock matches system records through periodic audits.
Identify damaged, expired, or obsolete items and report appropriately.
3. Receiving and Issuing:
Supervise the receipt of goods and verify quantities and quality.
Ensure proper documentation for goods received and issued (e.g., GRN, SRN).
Tag, label, and store inventory in an organized and accessible manner.
4. Reporting:
Prepare and submit inventory reports to management regularly.
Highlight slow-moving or fast-moving items and inventory turnover rates.
Assist in forecasting inventory needs based on trends and demand.
5. Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure adherence to inventory control procedures and company policies.
Maintain updated records of purchases, deliveries, and returns.
Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation.
6. Coordination:
Work closely with procurement, production, warehouse, and sales teams.
Assist in planning inventory replenishment and transfers between locations.
Support logistics in stock dispatch and tracking.
