Job Description
A Sales Analyst needed for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting sales data to help organizations make strategic business decisions. The role supports sales teams by identifying trends, forecasting performance, and providing insights to optimize sales strategies and increase revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Data Analysis:
Analyze sales performance metrics across products, regions, teams, and periods.
Track key indicators such as revenue, volume, profit margins, and customer behavior.
Identify sales trends, patterns, and anomalies.
2. Reporting & Dashboards:
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports for management and sales teams.
Create visual dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to present actionable insights.
Automate regular reporting processes for efficiency.
3. Forecasting & Planning:
Assist in preparing sales forecasts based on historical data and market trends.
Provide input for demand planning, budgeting, and target setting.
Support the development of sales strategies and territory planning.
4. Market & Competitor Analysis:
Monitor competitor pricing, market share, and promotional strategies.
Analyze customer segments and buying patterns to identify new opportunities.
Provide insights on market trends to support sales and marketing campaigns.
5. Sales Process Improvement:
Recommend process improvements to boost sales effectiveness.
Identify underperforming products or sales channels and suggest corrective actions.
Collaborate with sales teams to align on goals and performance strategies.
