Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Field Engineer to provide onsite IT support across Lagos, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of hands-on experience in IT support, hardware troubleshooting, and network maintenance, with a strong ability to work independently in dynamic environments. You will ensure seamless IT operations for our clients by diagnosing and resolving technical issues onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware (servers, desktops, laptops) and networking equipment (routers, switches, access points).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows/Linux systems, VPNs, LAN/WAN, and software applications.
• Provide end-user support and training to clients onsite.
• Conduct routine maintenance and upgrades for IT infrastructure.
• Document technical issues and solutions for future reference.
• Navigate Lagos’ logistical challenges (traffic, power fluctuations) to deliver timely support.
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of experience as a Field Engineer or in IT support roles.
• Proficiency in Windows/Linux administration, network troubleshooting, and hardware diagnostics.
• Preferred Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills for client interactions.
• Valid driver’s license and familiarity with Lagos’ geography.
• Ability to handle fieldwork, including travel within Lagos.
Nice-to-Have:
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) or cybersecurity protocols.
• Prior work with local businesses or knowledge of Lagos’ IT infrastructure challenges.
