We are a fast-growing Chinese automotive brand dealer accelerating our footprint across Nigeria. With ambitious expansion plans, we are looking for a results-oriented Senior Sales Manager to drive market penetration and position our brand as a top contender in the automotive sector in Lagos and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement short-term (3–6 months) market penetration strategies to boost brand awareness and market share.
Build and manage a high-performing dealer network; engage with local distributors and corporate clients (e.g., fleet rental, logistics, and mining firms).
Secure bulk purchase and government procurement deals.
Oversee the end-to-end sales process – from pricing negotiations to contract execution and delivery coordination – ensuring seamless transactions and secure payments.
Utilize and grow existing networks within automotive associations, financial institutions, and media platforms to support sales growth.
Build strong relationships with local influencers, business councils, and tribal leaders to support brand localization and market integration.
Track and analyze competitor activity (e.g., pricing/promotions of brands like Toyota and Kia), adjusting sales strategies accordingly.
Provide ongoing market insights to HQ on local consumer trends (e.g., SUV and pickup preferences) to inform product and marketing decisions.
Requirements & Qualifications
3+ years of proven success in automotive sales in Nigeria (Chinese brand experience is an added advantage).
Candidates with strong HNW client networks in sectors such as luxury retail, real estate, or private banking may also be considered.
Deep-rooted network of dealers, corporate clients, and financing partners.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills with a strong ability to close high-value deals.
High self-motivation and resilience in fast-paced environments.
Demonstrated professionalism and ethical conduct in business dealings.
