Job Description
We are seeking a trustworthy and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the financial operations of our hospitality business. This role is essential for overseeing vendor payments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the team with timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate must be organised, proactive, and capable of working independently, especially during weekends when financial transactions peak.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage daily accounting and bookkeeping functions
2. Handle vendor disbursements and ensure timely, accurate payments, especially on weekends
3. Monitor cash flow, reconcile bank statements, and manage petty cash
4. Prepare financial reports including profit & loss, balance sheets, and expense tracking
5. Maintain accurate records of transactions and vendor accounts
6. Support procurement with budget monitoring and payment scheduling
7. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with statutory remittances
8. Provide support during audits and financial reviews
9. Liaise with operations and management to ensure financial transparency
