About the Role:
We are seeking a vigilant, reliable, and physically fit Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safeguarding our premises, protecting staff and visitors, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and patrol premises regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or disturbance.
Control access to the premises and verify the identity of visitors.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, ensuring proper reporting.
Maintain detailed daily activity logs and incident reports.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
Requirements:
Minimum of SSCE / equivalent qualification.
Proven work experience as a security officer or similar role.
Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
Physically fit, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
Integrity, honesty, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Basic knowledge of security technology (CCTV, alarm systems) is an advantage.
