Job Summary
The General Manager oversees the daily operations and P&L of the furniture business. You’ll lead sales, operations, purchasing, and customer service to drive growth, profitability, and a great customer experience across all channels (showroom, online, wholesale).
Key Responsibilities
Set and execute the business plan and goals for the furniture unit.
Manage the P&L: revenue, costs, margins, and budgets.
Lead and develop the leadership team (Sales, Operations, Marketing, Customer Service).
Drive multi-channel sales growth (retail, online, wholesale) and optimize product mix.
Oversee operations: procurement, inventory, delivery, and after-sales service.
Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure product quality and on-time delivery.
Ensure excellent customer service and handle escalations when needed.
Monitor key metrics (sales, margins, inventory turnover, customer satisfaction) and adjust plans accordingly.
Ensure compliance with safety, labor, and company policies.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Marketing, or related field.
Experience: 5–10 years in general management or senior operations roles in furniture or retail; P&L ownership preferred.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making; basic financial literacy; familiarity with ERP/CRM and e-commerce basics is a plus.
Personal: Customer-focused, results-driven, collaborative, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation
