Job Description

HR JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage recruitment process and portfolio evaluations
• Manage HR related issues such as leaves, work absence, grievances, disciplinary procedures, remunerations/ salary reviews, negotiations,
• Assist with HR policy reviews and supervising implementation; reviews of staff handbooks.
• Proficient in driving performance appraisals.
• Provide support by working with teams to identify required competencies, manage personnel training plan
• Assist with identifying human resources applicable federal and state laws, interpret, implement and keep records/ registers of such laws.
• Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
• Maintain both hard and soft copies of employees' records.
• Manages recruitment process, performing reference checks and issuing employment contracts.
• Produce Pension ,PAYE and other schedules and ensure on-time payments
• Process payroll information and ensure Immediate Resolution of any payroll issues when detected
• Respond to enquiries/requests from employees, concerning payments, allowances, leaves and benefits in a professional, courteous & timely manner
• Liaise with HMO service provider towards ensuring quality service delivery is achieved
• Perform New staff inductions and update records of new staff.
• Produce and submit weekly activity reports on general HR activities to the Head , HR
• Prepares schedules and coordinate Group Life and other insurances for all employees
• Manages project payroll process especially as concerning contract workers.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice
• Effective organizational and communication skills
• Supportive team player with a drive to create a positive work environment
• Applies solid judgment whilst ensuring integrity, compliance, & confidentiality
• Drive increased productivity and compliance through identifying opportunities for process improvements, standardization, and simplification within assigned areas ;Taking ownership of the ISO 9001:2015 recertification
• Drive a culture excellence and continuous process improvement by providing support to others and by delivering trainings e.g. induction for new staff, work ethics, and culture of company e.t.c.
• Develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders through strong interpersonal skills and proactive communication
• Continuously improve on area of expertise; keep abreast with industry trends, customer and internal updates and changes
• Supportive in the preparation of year-end Budgeting reports
• Any other responsibility as may be assigned to you by the Head, HR. or Managing Director

Qualifications/Requirements
• First degree (minimum second class lower) in Management, Human Resources or Business Administration
• Professional Certification such as CIPM or CIPD would be an added advantage
• Current HR License
• Excellent communication skills
• Has worked in a Human Resources Role in a thriving organization
• Must be familiar and have implemented HR Policies or Procedures in same organisation
• Remarkable organizational and conflict management skills
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent Team bonding skills
• Self motivated, good drive and passion for excellence
