Job Description

Job Title: Sales Executive

Job Location: Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.

Job Competency Requirement

Ability to plan, prospect, introduce, develop new relationships and achieve the daily and monthly sales targets ensuring complete and proper coverage of the allocated area/outlets for the bakery.
Ability to drive new innovative sales processes and strategies in line with the Bakery’s long-term plans. Develop sales and distribution plan: identify and establish business relationships with new clients and introduce the full range of Bakery products to existing clients.
Ability to monitor customer satisfaction, handle complaints in such a way that customer satisfaction is ensured and conduct customer satisfaction surveys monthly.
Ability to continuously conduct dealer surveys while capturing relevant market intelligence & identify the existing and new routes and its development in accordance with company norms.
Ability to drive sales volume development through continuous route and retail outlet identification.
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and competence in every customer interaction, in implementing trade promotions and marketing activities that relate to routes and customers.
Make frequent retailer/customer calls and visits to build/strengthen positive and productive relationships with retailers/customers.
Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly activity report detailing the competitors’ activities; as well as any other information required by the Company.

Qualifications Requirements

1. OND/HND/BSc. in Sales and Marketing or related qualification with at least 3 Years relevant experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods sector.
2. Candidates with Bakery/Baking products/Confectionery sales experience will have an added advantage.
3. Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical and good reporting skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel & PowerPoint;
5. Self-driven and ability to work with minimal supervision.
