Job Description

The Device Management Intern will assist in coordinating, deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting various devices for clients.

The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for technology and device management.

Key Responsibilities:

1, Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate records of all hardware devices, including serial numbers, configurations, and locations.

2. Device Deployment: Assist in the setup, configuration, and deployment of new devices to end-users, ensuring they are properly configured and ready for use.

3. Software Installation and Updates: Aid in the installation, updates, and patches of operating systems, applications, and software on various devices.

4. Hardware Troubleshooting: Provide basic troubleshooting support for hardware issues, including diagnosing problems, replacing faulty components, and coordinating repairs with vendors if necessary.

5. Device Security: Assist in implementing and maintaining security measures on devices, including antivirus software, encryption, and access controls.

6. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation, manuals, and guides for device setup, configuration, and troubleshooting procedures.

7. User Support: Provide technical support and assistance to end-users regarding device-related issues, inquiries, and requests.

8. Client Support: Manage orders and inquiries from clients.

9. Asset Tracking: Assist in tracking the movement and usage of devices, including issuing, reclaiming, and retiring devices as needed.

Key Requirements:

1. A degree (2:1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field from a reputable university.

2. Basic understanding of hardware devices, operating systems, and software applications.

3. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

6. Familiarity with device management tools and software.
