Job Description
Vehicle Electrical Maintenance:
Diagnose electrical problems in vehicles by using diagnostic tools and following troubleshooting procedures.
Repair or replace faulty electrical components such as alternators, starters, batteries, wiring harnesses, and lighting systems.
Conduct regular inspections of vehicle electrical systems to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
Installation and Upgrades:
Install new electrical components or systems in vehicles as needed, including audio systems, GPS trackers, and safety features.
Upgrade existing electrical systems to improve performance, efficiency, or safety standards.
Ensure that all installations comply with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
Electrical Repairs:
Perform electrical repairs on vehicles involved in accidents or breakdowns, including repairing damaged wiring, connectors, and electrical modules.
Test repaired electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and safety before returning vehicles to service.
Preventive Maintenance:
Conduct preventive maintenance tasks on vehicle electrical systems, such as cleaning battery terminals, checking fluid levels, and inspecting wiring connections.
Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage to track vehicle history and identify recurring issues.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries while working on vehicles.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards governing vehicle electrical systems and maintenance practices.
Participate in safety training programs and stay informed about industry best practices.
