Bar Manager

Job Description:
• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bar Manager to oversee the operations of our establishment's bar in Lagos, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, efficient bar operations, and adherence to all relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
• Supervise and coordinate all aspects of bar operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and cleanliness.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Oversee the purchasing and inventory management of beverages and bar supplies.
Staff Management:
• Recruit, train, and supervise bar staff, ensuring they provide exceptional service to customers.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff to maintain high standards.
Customer Service:
• Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle any complaints or issues effectively.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction and retention.
Financial Management:
• Manage the bar's budget and expenses, including monitoring costs, setting prices, and maximizing profitability.
• Analyze sales trends and develop strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
Marketing and Promotion:
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract customers and increase sales.
• Plan and organize special events, promotions, and entertainment to enhance the bar's appeal.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of beverage trends, mixology, and bar operations.
• Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Education and Certifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Certification in food and beverage management or bartending is a plus.
