Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and talented Project Manager to join a dynamic
project team. The resource shall be responsible for:

 Overseeing and managing the planning, execution and completion of projects related to
security systems.
 Candidate must be able to proactively work to set customer expectation to assure a smooth
project including project timeline, client requirements, and critical dependencies.
 Candidate will be involved in everything from developing new products or services to
installing equipment or software at client locations.

POSITION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
 Managing projects that involve typical installation of surveillance systems design and
programming using established standards as required.
 Reviews and designs the surveillance systems based on customer’s specification.
 Provides detailed information to communicate design and operation to
customers/clients.
 Communicating with clients to ensure they are satisfied with the security measures they
are receiving.
 Reviewing industry trends to identify areas where new security measures should be
implemented
 Conducting risk assessments to determine the likelihood of a security breach or incident
occurring on the surveillance systems.
 Working with architects and engineers to test and develop security plans for new
surveillance system projects.
 Coordinating security staff schedules and activities with other team members involved
in the project.
 Coordination of tasks to System Technicians, Electrical Installers and System Designers.
 Ensures that delegated tasks are done accurately, on time and within budget and scope
of the contract.
 Attend meetings and briefings by customer.
 Effectively communicates the status of projects to Stakeholders as required and
provides monthly forecasts of revenue, costs, and gross margin.

QUALIFICATIONS:
 5 years in Project Management and strong experience in working in a professional
environment.
 Experience with security technology (CCTV, Access Control, Alarm Systems) is preferred
 Bachelor’s degree in Science or IT related disciplines (Minimum 2:2)
 Ability to work under tight timelines in a demanding environment
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 Excellent presentation skills
 Strong leadership skills
 Knowledge of project accounting, costing principals and contracting preferred.
 Ability to work closely with the Business Leaders, IT Partners, and peers for the project,
the customer and the development/implementation team within a Project Team
environment
 Interface with multiple business functions and organizations, as well as multiple
specialists, in defining, producing and managing plans for successful project delivery
 Ability to lead/coordinate a cross-functional team, ensuring that projects meet defined
scope, time, cost and quality constraints
 Ability to deal with organizational influences, ambiguity and continuous change
