Job Description
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Controller on behalf of our client.
Job Title: Inventory Controller
Location: Shomolu, Surulere, Lagos Island , iganmu, Ikoyi
Employment Type: Full-time (shift)
Job Description:
As an Inventory Controller, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, coordinating orders and deliveries, conducting regular audits, and forecasting supply and demand requirements to ensure optimal stock levels.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed
• Develop and implement inventory control systems and practices
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to maintain quality stock purchases
• Manage logistics of purchase orders, transfers, deliveries, tagging, and processing
• Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking or out-of-stock situations
• Analyse supply chain data to identify and resolve issues
• Generate purchase reports, pricing analysis, and inventory management systems
• Conduct regular stock checks and report any discrepancies
Requirements:
• Ordinary National Diploma or Higher National Diploma in logistics or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail, warehousing, logistics, or similar role additional experience in the food service industry is a bonus.
• Proficiency in inventory management software.
• Excellent analytical and logistical skills
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities
• Strong collaboration and negotiation skills
• Exceptional time management and organizational abilities
