• Inventory Management:
o Receive and inspect incoming food supplies, ingredients, and equipment.
o Maintain accurate records of stock levels, receipts, and adjustments.
o Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to prevent shortages.
o Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
• Quality Control:
o Conduct quality checks on received items to verify compliance with specifications.
o Ensure proper storage conditions to maintain product quality.
o Assist in managing food safety protocols.
• Organization and Efficiency:
o Keep the storeroom organized and clean.
o Arrange materials and equipment for easy access.
o Assist in preparing items for disposal or transfer.
• Team Collaboration:
o Work closely with kitchen staff, chefs, and management.
o Communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations.
• Record Keeping:
o Maintain accurate inventory records.
o Generate reports on inventory levels and usage.
Qualifications:
• Ordinary National Diploma or Higher National Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in storekeeping or inventory management.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with inventory management software is a plus.
