Production Operator (Cube Wrapping)

Responsibilities
• Set up and prepare packing machines for operation, ensuring they are clean, calibrated, and properly working.
• Monitor and operate packing machines during the packaging process to ensure products are packaged accurately, efficiently, and according to company guidelines.
• Adjust machine settings, such as speed and temperature, to ensure optimal performance and quality of packaging.
• Check and verify the quality of packaging materials, including labels, seals, and other components, to ensure they meet specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of packing machinery, including troubleshooting and minor repairs, to ensure continuous operation.
• Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed during machine operation, and identify and report any safety hazards or concerns.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of packaging materials, such as boxes, labels, and film, and notify supervisors of any shortages or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with other team members, such as production supervisors and quality control personnel, to ensure smooth and efficient packing operations.
• Complete production and quality control documentation, including recording machine settings, production quantities, and any deviations from standards.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety, quality control, and sanitation.


Qualifications / Skills
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a packing machine operator or in a similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of packing machine operations and familiarity with different types of packing machinery is a plus.
• Understanding of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Willingness to undergo additional training or certifications as required by the company.
• Attention to detail and ability to perform tasks with precision and accuracy.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure efficient operation and timely completion of tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate and troubleshoot complex packing machinery.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and supervisors.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues that may arise during machine operation.
• Basic computer skills to operate and monitor packing machines, as well as complete production and quality control documentation.
• Physical stamina and ability to stand, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
