Job Title: Driver
Location: Ojodu Berger, Lagos
Reports to: Administrative Officer
Responsibilities
o Undertake driving assignments and provide these services safely and efficiently.
o Responsible for the organization & passengers' property while driving.
o Maintain & clean assigned vehicles with care and report any damage to the Transport Officer/Administrative Officer.
o Report the mileage to the Admin Officer periodically.
o Responsible for assigned vehicle and its tools, equipment, and spare parts.
o Record transport logbook for assigned vehicles every day.
o Conduct a regular, thorough inspection of the vehicle before use.
o Carry out minor vehicle repairs like tire and bulb changes.
o In case of facing or being involved in a traffic accident, report immediately to supervisors and police.
o Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
o Knowledge of Lagos road networks.
Education Background and Experience
o Candidates should possess a WAEC / GCE or OND
o Minimum of 3 years of driving experience
o Third-grade license or any equivalent license that can allow one to drive station wagon/medium-sized trucks
Competence:
o English Proficiency: WAEC (Intermediate)
o Ability to read, understand, and adhere to government and organization rules and regulations
o Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers
o Ability to recognize vehicle maintenance needs
