Job Description

In continuation of its expansion and growth, the company is seeking a dynamic individual as the Executive Assistant

Job Summary
Our client is seeking an Executive Assistant who provides high-level administrative support to executives by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings. May also train and supervise lower-level clerical staff.

Key Responsibilities:
• Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the Executive Vice Chairman (EVC), including managing an extremely active calendar of appointments; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings.
• Plans, coordinates, and ensures the EVC schedule is followed and respected. Provides "gatekeeper" and "gateway" roles, creating win-win situations for direct access to the EVC's time and office.
• Researches, prioritizes and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the President, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature.
• Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the EVC's office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust, and support with senior management staff.
• Works closely and effectively with the EVC to keep him well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately. Acts as a "barometer," having a sense of the issues taking place in the environment and keeping the EVC updated.
• Provides leadership to build relationships crucial to the success of the organization and manages a variety of special projects for the EVC, some of which may have organizational impact.
• Completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting acknowledgment letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the EVC's ability to effectively lead the company.
• Ensure the EVC’s lines stay connected (Airtime and Data), and activate all subscriptions related to the office.
• Record all incoming and outgoing correspondence from the Office of the EVC.
• Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, and proactively, and follows up on assigned projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures and reporting same to the EVC.
• Any other duty/duties as may be assigned.

Candidate Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in administration, Secretariat Studies, or related field
• Minimum of 5-6 years of experience with a proven track record of achievements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Adobe Acrobat, Web Platforms
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Candidate must be smart, ability to work under pressure, analytical,
• Good understanding of telephone etiquette and office appearance,
• Upwardly mobile and ready to travel at short notice.
• Minimum age not more than 40 years old

Salary:
350.000,00 NGN Monthly
