Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and efficient Rider to join our team in the Logistics and Supply Chain industry. As a Rider, you will be responsible for delivering goods and packages to various destinations efficiently and on time. You will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, thereby contributing to our reputation for excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
• Deliver packages and goods to assigned locations promptly and efficiently.
• Adhere to designated routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Handle and transport packages and goods safely and securely.
• Ensure accuracy in recording and verifying delivery information.
• Provide exceptional customer service by handling inquiries and concerns professionally.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
• Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while operating the delivery vehicle.
• Collaborate with the team to optimize delivery processes and improve efficiency.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections regularly.
• Report any issues or incidents to the supervisor promptly.
• Assist with loading and unloading of packages and goods as needed.
Requirements
• Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a dispatched rider.
• Familiarity with local roads and areas.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle packages and goods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
• Customer-focused mindset and dedication to delivering exceptional service.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures.
• Ability to handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems is a plus.
