Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at our dental clinic. The primary responsibility of the Dental Hygienist is to provide comprehensive oral hygiene care to our patients and assist in promoting their overall dental health. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient education and preventive care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform professional dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures.
2. Conduct thorough oral health assessments and screenings.
3. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care techniques.
4. Take and develop dental x-rays as needed.
5. Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants.
6. Assist the dentist during dental procedures and provide chairside support.
7. Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
8. Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
Education and Experience
1. Degree in Dental Therapy from an accredited institution.
2. 2-3 years' experience in Dental therapy
2. Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist
3. Strong knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and techniques, with a focus on periodontal therapy.
6. Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
7. Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
8. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of industry advancements and best practices.
