Job Description

Job Summary
The Marketing and Sales Manager at Jenniez School of African Interior Design and Jenniez Designs will be responsible for driving brand visibility, increasing student enrollment, and acquiring interior design projects. This individual will lead all marketing initiatives, develop sales strategies, and manage relationships with prospective students, clients, and partners. They will oversee online and offline marketing activities, ensuring that the brand maintains a strong presence in the market while achieving growth targets.

Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy and Execution
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote both the school and design services.
Plan and manage campaigns across digital, print, and other channels to boost awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
Oversee content creation for the website, social media, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing and sales channels.
Analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to inform strategy.
2. Sales Strategy and Business Development
Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet student enrollment and client acquisition targets.
Identify and build relationships with potential clients, partners, and sponsors for both school programs and design projects.
Create and manage a sales pipeline, tracking leads, opportunities, and conversions to ensure steady business growth.
Lead sales presentations and pitches for new business opportunities, working closely with the CEO and design team when necessary.
3. Digital Marketing and Social Media Management
Oversee digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and paid advertising (e.g., Google Ads, social media ads).
Manage social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), ensuring a regular flow of engaging and relevant content.
Track and analyze digital metrics such as website traffic, lead generation, conversion rates, and social media engagement to optimize campaigns.
Implement and manage influencer partnerships, collaborations, or affiliate programs to expand reach.
4. Student Recruitment and Client Acquisition
Develop and implement a robust recruitment strategy for attracting new students to Jenniez School of African Interior Design.
Organize promotional events such as open days, webinars, workshops, or exhibitions to generate leads for both the school and design projects.
Build relationships with prospective students, clients, and partners, providing them with detailed information on the school’s programs and design services.
Manage the entire sales funnel—from lead generation to conversion—ensuring smooth onboarding of new students and clients.
5. Partnership Development and Management
Establish partnerships with industry professionals, organizations, and institutions to enhance the school's reputation and secure new project opportunities.
Identify and collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and influencers for co-branded initiatives or joint ventures.
Attend networking events, conferences, and industry gatherings to promote the brand and build strategic partnerships.
6. Budget Management and Reporting
Develop and manage the marketing and sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve maximum ROI.
Track all marketing and sales activities, preparing regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead generation, conversion rates, revenue growth, and campaign performance.
Provide insights and recommendations to the CEO on marketing and sales strategies based on data analysis and performance results.
7. Team Leadership and Collaboration
Supervise and mentor junior marketing staff or external marketing agencies, ensuring clear communication and alignment with business goals.
Collaborate with the design and operations teams to align marketing strategies with project timelines and service offerings.
Coordinate with the Academic Coordinator to promote courses, workshops, and other school events effectively.
Qualifications and Experience
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
Professional certification in digital marketing or sales is a plus.
Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and sales, preferably in the education or design industry.
Proven track record of developing successful marketing campaigns and driving sales growth.
Experience with digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, HubSpot) and CRM software.
