Graphics designer - (Volunteer)

We are seeking a talented and creative Graphics Designer Volunteer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling designs that enhance our brand presence and communicate our message effectively. You will work on a variety of projects, including marketing materials, social media graphics, website assets, and promotional content.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Creation: Develop high-quality visual designs for a range of materials including brochures, flyers, posters, social media graphics, website banners, and other marketing collateral.

Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to the organization’s branding guidelines and maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms and materials.
Concept Development: Collaborate with team members to understand design needs and objectives. Translate concepts and ideas into visually appealing graphics.

Revisions and Feedback: Incorporate feedback and make necessary revisions to designs based on input from team members and stakeholders.

Layout and Typography: Utilize layout and typography principles to create clear, engaging, and visually attractive designs that communicate the intended message effectively.

Creativity and Innovation: Bring fresh and innovative ideas to the design process, experimenting with new techniques and visual styles to enhance our materials.

Project Management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines.

Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and communications team to support their design needs and contribute to overall campaign strategies.

Asset Management: Organize and maintain design assets, including images, templates, and graphics, ensuring they are easily accessible and up-to-date.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other relevant tools.

Strong portfolio demonstrating design skills and previous work experience.

Excellent understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
