Superintendent Pharmacist

Role Overview: As a Superintendent Pharmacist, you will be responsible for overseeing the professional standards, compliance, and day-to-day operations of the pharmacy. You will provide leadership to the pharmacy team, ensure all services meet legal and ethical standards, and work to enhance patient care through the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical services.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the pharmacy complies with all relevant legislation, guidelines, and professional standards.
Provide leadership and guidance to the pharmacy team, ensuring excellent customer service and patient care.
Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and oversee clinical governance processes.
Manage risk assessment, incident management, and ensure the safety of both staff and patients.
Act as the key point of contact with regulatory bodies, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
Oversee medicines management, including safe storage, distribution, and disposal of medicines.
Lead training and development initiatives to ensure all pharmacy staff are up-to-date with industry practices and regulations.
Work closely with management to achieve business objectives while maintaining patient safety and legal compliance.

Requirements:
At least 3-5 years of experience as a practicing pharmacist, preferably in a community setting.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
Passion for patient care and delivering a high standard of customer service.
