Delivery / Sales Driver

Job Summary:
Caresgate Africa Ltd, a leading e-commerce company in the FMCG sector, is seeking a motivated and reliable Delivery Sales Driver to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering products to our customers while promoting sales and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a blend of excellent driving skills, customer service, and a strong understanding of our product offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Product Delivery:
o Safely and efficiently deliver products to customers within assigned routes.
o Ensure timely delivery of orders according to the schedule.
o Verify the accuracy of delivery orders, including product quality and quantity.
• Sales & Customer Engagement:
o Promote and upsell products to customers during deliveries.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing any inquiries or concerns.
o Provide product information and suggest new or complementary products to customers.
• Inventory Management:
o Manage and account for the inventory in the delivery vehicle.
o Conduct routine checks on stock levels and report any discrepancies to the logistics team.
• Vehicle Maintenance:
o Perform regular maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
o Report any mechanical issues or damages to the fleet management team immediately.
