Job Title: Quality Assurance & Quality Control Officer (Consumer Electronics)

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description
o The objective of the successful candidate will be to ensure that our products and services meet all necessary requirements before they reach the consumers.
Responsibilities
o Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
o Devise and review specifications for products or processes
o Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance
o Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
o Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback
o Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
o Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements
o Approve the right products or reject defectives
o Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis
o Solicit feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met
o Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives
o Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures.
Requirements
o BSc/ Ba in relevant and related field
o Proven experience as quality manager
o Conscientious and responsible
o A keen eye for detail and a result driven approach
o Outstanding communication skills
o Excellent organizational and leadership skills
o Proficient in MS Office
o In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
o Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods
o Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)
