Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our team at a hotel in Lafia. The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the hotel, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the hotel’s financial planning and budgeting processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
- Ensure accurate and timely accounting and reporting of all financial transactions.
- Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to optimize financial performance.
- Implement and maintain financial controls to mitigate risks and enhance reporting accuracy.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets and monitor expenditures.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Conduct audits and ensure adherence to internal and external financial policies.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis to support business growth.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, zero, sage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
