Job Description

Job Title: Finance Officer

Salary
N120,000 / month.

Locations: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

Assist in maintaining financial records and ensuring accuracy in documentation.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment verification, and reconciliations.
Assist in budget preparation and monitoring expenditures against budget allocations.
Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
Assist in preparing financial reports, statements, and forecasts.
Participate in audits and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support cross-functional initiatives.
Stay updated on financial regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
Provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed.
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Adaptability and willingness to learn new concepts and processes.
Understanding of financial principles and terminology.
At least 1-3 years experience in finance or accounting.
Completion certificate or proof of exemption from NYSC
Professional Certification in finance or accounting is an added advantage
