Position: Business Development Manager (Deposit Mobilization)

Job Description (Summary):
As a Business Development Manager (Deposit Mobilization), your primary responsibility will be to promote the company’s financial offerings, secure deposit funds, and build relationships with key institutional and retail clients across Lagos and Abuja.
Deposit Mobilization and Growth:
• Champion the deposit mobilization drive, targeting high-net-worth individuals, institutional clients, and retail markets.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve deposit growth targets.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for low-to-medium-cost deposits to fund the company’s assets.
Client Relationship Management:
• Build and manage strong relationships with institutional and retail clients to secure new deposit mandates.
• Monitor client satisfaction to ensure superior service delivery and retention.
Sales Activities and Market Engagement:
• Execute sales activities, including client presentations, campaigns, and roadshows, to drive deposit growth.
• Represent the company at networking events and industry forums to expand market presence.
Key Decision-Maker Engagement:
• Engage with decision-makers within target organizations to establish strategic partnerships and secure deposit mandates.
Financial Expertise and Industry Awareness:
• Stay updated on financial market trends and the competitive landscape to position offerings effectively.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Experience Level: 5–7 years of relevant experience in deposit mobilization, preferably in digital banking or financial services.
• Education: First degree (minimum Second-Class Lower) from a reputable institution.
• Professional Qualifications: Possession of certifications such as ICAN, ACCA, CIS, CFA, or an MBA will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated success in achieving deposit mobilization targets and building strong client relationships.
