Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities:
· Oversee the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, machinery, and motors.
· Implement preventive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.
· Maintain accurate records of equipment downtime and resolution times.
· Prepare reports on equipment performance and maintenance trends.
· Supervise and coach the electrical team to ensure optimal performance.
· Foster a collaborative and team-oriented work environment.
· Enter data into the ERP system for accurate tracking and reporting.
· Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze data, prepare spare reorder levels, and track department performance.
· Ensure efficient operation of both renewable and non-renewable power sources, including gas generators.
Qualifications:
· B.Sc or HND degree in Electrical Engineering
· Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in the electrical field
· Preferred 7 years of experience
· Proven ability to manage electrical operations in a heavy industrial setting
· Strong understanding of electrical equipment, machinery, and systems
· Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
· Strong leadership and communication abilities
· Ability to work effectively under pressure

Ability to plan and manage preventive maintenance programs
