Surveyor

Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team. The Surveyor will be responsible for making precise measurements and determining property boundaries. This role involves preparing sites for construction, providing data relevant to the shape, contour, gravitation, location, elevation, or dimension of land or land features.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct land surveys and perform complex measurements to determine property boundaries.
Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys.
Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
Direct or conduct surveys to establish legal boundaries for properties, based on legal deeds and titles.
Record the results of surveys, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features.
Coordinate findings with the work of engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and others involved in projects.
Research previous survey evidence, maps, deeds, physical evidence, and other records to obtain data needed for surveys.
Establish fixed points for use in making maps, using geodetic and engineering instruments.
Adjust surveying instruments to maintain their accuracy.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in land surveying.
Proficiency with surveying instruments and tools (e.g., theodolites, levels, GPS).
Strong understanding of mapping and legal property descriptions.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Professional Surveyor (P.S.) license preferred.
