HSE Officer

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Officer to join our team. The HSE Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, promoting a culture of safety, and implementing effective HSE policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HSE regulations.
Conduct HSE training and awareness programs for employees.
Maintain accurate records of HSE activities, incidents, and training.
Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety improvement initiatives.
Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HSE role.
In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are preferred.
