Job Description
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
First Degree in Business, Marketing and Economics, from a reputable institution –
Must have above-average software skills in Microsoft Office applications.
At least 3 years post qualification experience.
Technical knowledge and skills in results-based management
Strong interpersonal skills,
Ability to lead others in solving complex problems,
Ability to work effectively with clients, and Ability to communicate effectively. Strong organizational skills
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent report writing and presentation skills
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to work with timelines and meet deadlines
Desirable
Managing documents: Managing company documents and databases, and ensuring the confidentiality and security of files
Supporting clients and employees: Greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and handling complaints
Scheduling: Scheduling meetings and appointments, and arranging travel and accommodations
Preparing reports: Creating reports on expenses and budgets, and preparing reports and presentations
Maintaining office supplies: Taking inventory, ordering office supplies, and working with vendors
Updating policies: Reviewing and updating office policies and procedures
Ensuring compliance: Enforcing compliance with health, safety, and security standards
Monitoring staff: Monitoring staff performance and handling disciplinary issues
Collaborating with HR: Collaborating with the human resources department on staff recruitment and training
Operating equipment: Operating copy equipment, fax machines, printers, and other equipment
Administrative officers should be organized and able to multitask in handling accounting, finance processes and other logistics
