Job Description
B.Sc./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering
Possesses a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Demonstrate practical diagnostic and resolution abilities on diesel Trucks & Buses.
Fleet management & maintenance experience preferred.
Understands rudiments of executing SLAs & AMCs and fleet management.
Exhibits persuasive candor and emotional intelligence.
Excellent communication, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Key Responsibilities
Oversees & manages the service center/workshop
Interface with customers and offer credible advice on service routine & maintenance service
Achieves company's revenue targets for the workshop
Diagnose and identify vehicle issues or faults through customer questioning, inspection, or road test
Relate inspection or identified faults with customer and offer advice on resolution
Prepare service or repair order time, cost, and labor estimate and share with customer for approval
Schedule & organize service appointments with customers
Confirm and ensure all complaints are rectified with road test certification
Keep and refer to service history data of vehicles and advise customers on other service areas required for effective vehicle usage
Ensures vehicles are delivered as per agreed terms and communicate ahead in case of any delays
Obtain customers signatures and approval for completed repairs or service jobs
Maintain high customers' satisfaction standards
Coordinates workshop technicians and team for quality service delivery
Provide weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports on workshop operations
Coordinates with store manager and ensure right spare parts are provided for vehicles
Manage, train, supervise mechanics on vehicle service or repairs - Must approve job completion
Actively participate in the recruitment of the technical team
Maintain daily briefing and allocation of tasks and ensure all tools are accounted for and kept
Provide SLA (Service Level Agreement)/AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) for fleet customers
