Loan Recovery Officers

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven field officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loan recoveries, ensuring proper KYC verification, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and a target-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
- Recovery of overdue loans while ensuring cordial and long-term relationship with clients through excellent client service.

- Track and manage outstanding debts, issuing reminder notices and negotiating payment plans with clients.

- Negotiate payoff deadlines, payment plans, and contractual relationships with clients related to loan recovery.

- Escalate unresolved debt issues to team leader and emphasize the importance of timely repayment to clients.

- Alert team leader of debtors unwilling or unable to pay when necessary

Requirements and Skills:
- HND/Bsc in any field
- 2 years of experience in recovery operations, preferably in microfinance
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to be articulate and speak with confidence
- Good negotiation and persuasion skills
- Target-oriented mindset
- Develop and implement effective loan recovery strategies tailored to each borrower’s situation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate and achieve business goals.
