Job Description

Job Title: Territory Sales Manager (TSM)

Location: Lagos

Industry: Telecommunications



Job Summary:



We are looking for a proactive and resultsoriented Territory Sales Manager (TSM) to drive sales revenue and maintain strong customer relationships within the designated geographical area. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of base stations, dealers, and key retail outlets, leading a team to meet and exceed sales targets.



Key Responsibilities:



Devise and implement effective territory sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenue and market share.

Oversee a territory with 3050 base stations, 23 SNS, 4050 dealers, and key retail outlets.

Lead and manage a team of approximately 10 direct reports, providing mentorship and support to enhance performance.

Identify, recruit, and onboard dealers/distributors to expand the sales network.

Ensure timely collection of payments from dealers and key retail outlets, while maintaining positive relationships.

Monitor sales performance against established targets (daily, weekly, monthly) to ensure objectives are met.

Engage with SMEs to drive direct sales initiatives within the territory.

Organize belowtheline (BTL) activities to boost sales visibility and engagement.

Analyze data to identify the most efficient sales methods and adjust strategies accordingly.

Discover new sales opportunities through consumer research and market analysis.

KPI Assessment: Evaluate sales performance based on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights for improvement.

Prepare and submit detailed sales reports to the Regional Sales Manager.



Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory sales position with proven experience in telecommunications, ISP, or FMCG sectors.

Relevant Industries: Experience in FMCG, banking, insurance, media (ad space selling), or ecommerce is preferred.

Proven track record of increasing sales and revenue with a strong field sales background.

Ability to develop and implement sales strategies effectively while utilizing performance KPIs to drive results.
