Job Description

Position Overview:
The Digital Engagement and Logistics Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing and enhancing the company's online presence while ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our logistics services. This role combines expertise in digital engagement, logistics coordination, and operational optimization to ensure we deliver the best possible service to our clients. You will work closely with both the marketing and logistics teams to integrate digital solutions with operational processes, improve client engagement, and streamline logistics workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Digital Engagement:
o Develop and execute strategies to improve digital engagement across all platforms, including social media, the company website, and digital marketing campaigns.
o Create compelling content that showcases our logistics services (customs brokerage, haulage, boat charter), including blogs, social media posts, and newsletters.
o Monitor, analyze, and report on engagement metrics to drive continuous improvement in digital outreach.
o Manage customer inquiries through digital channels and assist in resolving issues promptly.
2. Logistics Operations Coordination:
o Oversee day-to-day logistics of the boat charter services.
o Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure the timely and efficient transportation of goods.
o Ensure all operational processes comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
o Identify and resolve any operational challenges or inefficiencies to improve service delivery.
3. Client Relationship Management:
o Work directly with clients to understand their needs and expectations in terms of logistics services.
o Provide updates on shipment statuses, customs procedures, and boat charter availability via digital communication tools.
o Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving issues and enhancing the client experience through digital platforms.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment between digital engagement and logistical operations.
o Provide support for any special logistics projects or initiatives as needed.
o Contribute to the development of new digital services or logistics offerings based on market trends and customer needs.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Education: HND or Bachelor’s Degree.
• Experience:
o Proven experience in digital marketing, engagement, or social media management.
o Experience in haulage, and/or boat charter services, is highly desirable.
• Skills:
o Strong digital communication skills and an understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
o Excellent project management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
o Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights to improve engagement and operational efficiency.
o Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
